Kinda bad on My Sister Is the Main Character
unnecessarily dragging out the story. So the main goal of both FL & ML is to dethrone the emperor. But they both go through a very roundabout long way to deceive him & slowly gain power through other noble's support.
Then they get distracted by their forced romance which takes up 70% of a chapter with ML's cringe Flirting. The usual tactic where he goes up close to FL's face, brush her hair with his fingers, hug her from behind, smiling constantly at her. This just repeats itself whenever there's a chapter delicated to romance happens. Kinda Cliche.
The whole royal palace drama is just a way to drag the story because the author earns per chapter instead of ratings.
As if the romance was already bad enough, they brute force any plot twist with the concept of magic without any foreshadowing. Like how FL just randomly get's a power up out of nowhere when her attackers was about to win. It's all plot armor and cliche romance.

Rocks on Kiss Me If You Can
So I'm gonna give this an honest review as someone who hasn't read kiss me liar nor the novel so idk if I miss out much on Chase's character. I'm picky asf and I actually liked this. The art is amazing and I feel like the jump from them being enemies to what they are now was actually good written and it didn't feel too sudden also I feel like the main cast here is actually very likeable. I'm gonna put the triggering stuff as a spoiler so read with caution
Despite this the reason of my high ranking is because the story doesn't seem to romanticize these topics and actually gives it to you raw how fuc*** up these people are in a psychological way. It does sound bad but look at something like roses and champagne for example that is bad written in terms of handling ra**. I may look at the novel a bit or just wait for season 2 so idk when I'll edit this comment

This bl has ra**. Many many bls have ra** but this one is genuinely the only one I see it taken seriously as it is a disgusting immoral act and isn't just there for the author's fetish. It is not between the main couple (I actually believe everything between them is consensual) but they are raping the ml and his family seems to do that also between each other. Another rare sighting of some good representation and this time it's the omegaverse itself. They are perverse and close to animals even and all these ruts pheromones and second gender envy actually impact their universe. They made the poor ml ra** a dog. Actually disgusting and I was flabbergasted so keep that in mind if you were planning to read and I spoiled you with it.
