Rocks on Highest Order (Love So Pure)
SEASON 1
This read is such a breath of fresh air! It's wholesome, hilarious, and all of the characters are so relatable and endearing. They each have their own vulnerabilities that just make you want to root for them. While I'm not a big fan of the art style, the plot is just too good to pass up.
Jihyun knows what he wants and communicate it very clearly (yeah he's a sl** but what about it) and Yohan is basically a big baby. They both have their own traumas to overcome, but they handle them pretty well.
The summary fooled me big time thinking it would be all about s**, but to my surprise, this manhwa have more plot than I initially thought. And when they do include the s** scenes, well, let's just say they're steamy 🥵
Props to the author for creating such a realistic and heart-wrenching portrayal of the LGBTQ+ community. It's apparent that the author is well-versed in this community, and it shows throughout the story.
SEASON 2
Listen, I already thought this manhwa is good but the second couple just knocked it out of the park.
I don't think you understand how much I adore Yosef and Daeshik's relationship, they're literally the best couple out there. They know exactly what they want and they don't play any mind games with each other. No push and pull nonsense here!
And let me just say, Yosef is just the sweetest, most caring guy ever. Despite where he comes from or how he looks, his character is just so well-written and developed. There was this one scene I laughed at, but a few chapters later he explained why he did what he did and I FREAKING BAWLED MY EYES OUT.
The season 2 is basically a masterpiece.
SEASON 3
At this point, I really just want this manhwa to never come to an end.
