Pretty good on Of Course, I'll Claim Palimony!
I have a migraine from reading the tiny text in the tiny boxes 😭
However, this is an adorable story where the FL is a businesswoman through and through and she doesn't have to change in any way. ML and FL have a hilarious friendship. FL's family is 100% crazy (in the best way) and they are so supportive of her.
4/5, docking a point because of the migraine I got.

Rocks on Love Doesn’t Matter
We historical josei bit**** have had it easy since the start. We like the pretty jewels, the sparkles, the costumes. We like the noble setting. But we like also strong, decisive women, storming society into a frenzy, with their magical powers, their reincarnation bullshit, irrelevant knowledge about modern fashion trends and unbelievable charisma.
This is not how the setting should work, and it's fine. But sometimes we ought to be reminded that in those times the protagonists were men. Men, even better if old and most of all noble. Look at Mrs. Cünt Myerbriggs or whatever: even after committing every dirty sin imaginable, she is still squirming under her son's threats.
So let it be no mistake: this is a villainess-trope-based manga, and its protagonist is Hadius. It's a story about a sad, vile bàstard. FL is also there, with a strong personality and yet feeble influence, but the plot revolves around the only one with agency: ML. Who's Hadius, then? He is a troubled man, grown up in siege from every direction. Any cost is fine, to get what he wants. But will he able to stomach the price? If love doesn't matter, and yet it is still what he is doing everything for, what will be the aftermath of it all?
That is the question. A question answered with excellent writing. You may not like the characters, even despise them, but this thing is written with a brain. Remember: we are cheating. We know what they think. See their interactions from their own limited viewpoints, and the cast makes for plenty of sense. Disgust, too.
Same kudos go to the art, at least for the men. Women have some off-model problems with their eyes, but it's still all very pretty and sparkly.
It's a 9+ on the Ivern Scale™️. Could be even higher, with a more stable art style and future character development. I'll wait and watch: if the spoilers are to be trusted, the writer will have to jump through a loooot of loops to make me stomach the "Hadius goes full 9/11 mode" arc.
