Pretty good on The Jack-of-all-trades Kicked Out of the Hero’s Party ~ The Swordsman Who Became a Support Mage Due to Party Circumstances, Becomes All Powerful
Decent plot. Some of the characters make me want to kick them until they stop being so stupid.

Rocks on On or Off
Great! I am thrilled! This manga is now at the top of my favorite list, along with Ahjussi. By the way - it's not over yet, it continues!

Rocks on Romance is Dead
Redemption arcs. Most of the time, we get redemption fãrts instead. Bïtches just don't know how to write them. Bïtches are just too obsessed with cannons. Bïtches love cannons.
But for real, it ain't easy. Most forget that the arc's protagonist character must be redeemable to begin with. So no, China: not doable when the ML unapologetically and willfully raped, tortured, mentally broke down the MC. That's not how resentment and guilt work.
So, let's say you wrote a good character (fat chance) able to be redeemed: it is complex, its mistakes are humanly relatable to the reader, it puts in the work to heal back what it took. That's great, sweaty. Proud of ya.
Now do a fücking full spectrum with the cast, from redeemable to irredeemable, then make them interact with the FL in a credible way, then make the FL an interesting and honestly downright cool deadpan bïtch. Whose love of cannons is... unproven for now.
No? You can't do it? Figures. I'm the idiot for expecting something from you. You disappoint me, and that makes me kinda the same as your parents, doesn't it? So now do as you are told. Just read the manga. It mostly does what I described, and it does so with very good art and writing, both. The plot is not unexpected, but it is fun to see FL writhe and dissociate due to the gnarly and irreparably contradictory clusterfück she was thrusted in.
Honestly a 9 on the Ivern Scale™️. Good pacing too.
