Rocks on Mashle
Biased review: I LOVE IT READ IT NOW ITS AMAZING SAVED MY LIFE, MENTAL HEALTH, AND RELATIONSHIPS MASHLE CHANGES LIVES AND YKY ALL SHOULD KNOW THAT GAY, STRIAGHT, DECEASED OR NOT!!!!!!
Honest review: Despite my rating and biased review, this series is quite mid. Sure, I love it to death, the characters are amazing and the fights are even more, but I can't help but feel bugged when Abel got freaking headslamed and just walked it off afterwards. (Plus Lance literaly being donuted through the chest several times but living)
Also how weak IZ (Innocent Zero) and Famin ended up. I was really disappointed, you know, Komoto? I can't still believe IZ had godlike strength but still got beaten up by a teenager and his teenager friends. like that just does not make sense.
Another thing that kept bothering me was how little world/side character development we had. There were some things that should've gotten more detail (like Renatus Revol and the master cane things) but they never got it. Which, I think is a waste. I hope a spin-off develops these things more.
So yeah, that's my review of MASHLE. Hope there aren't too many mistakes. (I was literally writing this in bed at night, starving)
TDLR: it's good but don't read it if you dislike underdeveloped somethings, insane plot armor, and underwhelming villains. BYE!!

Rocks on Tougen Anki
Biased review: it's amazing I love it read it right now or DIE a HORRIBLE and slow death (+plus points for the gay)
Honest review: It's a pretty good series. At first, I expected it to be a rip-off of Ao No Exorcist, but it ended up surprising me with an enjoyable and very interesting story.
It reminded me of when I turned MASHLE in to my whole personality (it still is)
But, it's not perfect. Some things feel too rushed and there are quite a bit of issues. (like the fights just randomly happening all at the same time and some fights even getting the off camera treatment + insane plot armor (but I don't care because I'm too invested in this series to drop it) Nonetheless, I love the interactions with the characters (that one scene with Jin and Shiki) and it's a fun manga to read when you're bored.
So yeah, in short read it if you're bored and are gay, don't read it if you dislike rushed-ish writing (plus if you dislike the lgtv communit).
