Rocks on Tonari no Stella
(closer to a 4.8 or 4.6 than 5)
(written before manga finished, 7/30/23) Underrated romance manga, the main character, Chiaki, isn't as insufferable compared to other main characters in romance stories and I genuinely like her character. (could go into detail about why but that would take too much time, she's extremely considerate+forgiving towards the male lead while also speaking her mind) Speaking of the male lead, Subaru, as of chapter15 (most current chapter at the time I am writing this) I have extremely mixed feelings about him but overall a somewhat good character(?)
Apart from the main characters and without spoilers, this series so far has made my heart ache and tear up in recent chapters. Took me about 60-90 minutes to get through chapters 1-15 in one sitting, they're pretty long but enjoyable nonetheless.
