Pretty good on Lies Like Lies
The art was beautiful and suited the mood of each chapter. This was one of the most beautiful psychological short stories I have read. Full of predictable drama. The plot was well thought out... right down to the end. You got everything you need to know to understand the story. And if people wonder why he killed women and not men. I think women are expected to be understanding and Kang didn't find that out but was blamed for years of abuse by women in the neighborhood which caused trauma.
The only thing I really didn't like was the ending. But this was to be expected from the author, and his other story leaves more than one question unanswered at the end.
As far as I understand it, the killer Kang is still alive and the cop Taehoon is dead. Or Kang is in jail now... or Kang is back in action as a cop and Taehoo took all the blame... You can come up with a number of scenarios play through and didn't get a satisfactory answer.
That's what I hate most on open ends!
The subsequent conversation from the captain that this is an accident of stressed employees could also conclude that both are still alive.
