Meh on Banana Scandal
The first season is great - it's a sweet story with likeable characters. There is some conflict but it's mild compared to other stories I've read (in a good way!).
The second season, however, is bad. Very toxic behaviour from the ML and a very passive attitude from the MC. No matter what issues you've been through, it does not make sexual assault ok.
I don't understand why the writer changed the direction of this manga so drastically between the seasons. It ruined it for me. It's worth reading season one but stop there.
**Additional Edit**
I've just re-read season one (chapters 1-65) and I want to reiterate how nice it is. It's great to see two people just be drawn to each other and get together without any of the usual manipulative BL bullshit (all toxicity is from outside forces). I especially like how they don't make a big deal about a previously straight man getting in to a relationship with another guy.
I want to add a trigger warning that there is a drugging and an attempted sexual assault (not between the main couple) towards the end of the first season so be aware of that. Also definitely avoid the second season because it is incredibly abusive and disturbing, which it then tries to justify/normalize.
On an artistic note, the manga is drawn well and consistently, although the style is relatively simplistic and the cartoony/babyish faces are a bit off-putting at times. S** scenes are done better than a lot of other BL out there (realistic s**, normal body shapes and proportions, respect, consent, etc.) so well done to the artist!

Meh on BJ alex
The premise is ok and the art style is nice but I really don't like the "I'm pis*** off so I'm going to punish you with sexual assault" that happens (both in the main couple and the side couple), especially as it doesn't really fit with the rest of the storyline. The ML has good character development but the MC is pretty one-dimensional, which is a shame.

Pretty good on Stranger Than Friends
This is a friends-to-lovers story with a good plot. The conflicts are due to interpersonal pressures rather than some big evil villain, which I like. The uke does have a pretty toxic/obsessive boss but this isn't the main plot point. I like the two main characters and they have good character development, although towards the end the seme gets a bit soppy. The plot is long enough to invest in the story but short enough that it doesn't drag on with unnecessary drama. Overall it's very well written and you really root for the main characters both as a couple and as individuals.
The two side characters/couple are annoying and not very likeable but they don't take up too much of the plot and are mainly confined to a side story so they are easy to ignore. There was also some non-consensual behaviour from the seme which made me uncomfortable. If you skip the side story you aren't missing anything.
The art style is good and everything is consistently well-drawn. I liked how the uke was as masculine-looking as the seme (super girly ukes are my pet peeve). There are a lot of chibi scenes but I think they were well placed and added to the light-hearted mood of this manga. There are a decent number of s** scenes and they are pretty graphic and pretty hot.
Overall I would definitely recommend this manga!!
(Be warned that the first few translations are unofficial and are a bit rubbish - it's better to read these chapters elsewhere.)

Rocks on Semantic Error
I really like this. I started reading this after seeing the anime and it doesn't disappoint.
It's an enemies-to-lovers story but with enough nuance and plot development that it doesn't seem cliched like some other stories do. The character development is there too - the MC is very closed off initially and it's sweet to see how he opens up over time, with the ML going from being a playboy to being very patient and caring.
It's a slow burn but it's worth it! There aren't a lot of s** scenes and they're not very graphic so if that's all you want then this isn't for you. But if you want a more nuanced story about relationships then you won't be disappointed.
The art style is good too - quite comic book like, the characters are drawn well and I like the computer-y error messages that pop up.
I can't wait to see what happens next!
