Sucks big time on The Alpha's Bride
This is just awful. An Omegaverse story full of cliches with an underage omega and multiple ra** scenes.
Cliche checklist:
Uke thought he was an alpha but he's been activated and now he's an omega. Attempted ra** of an omega in heat (with victim blaming). Friend who is actually in love with the omega. Friend tries to ra** the omega. Alpha rapes the omega to punish him. Non-consensual marking. General rich/high class alpha and poorer/lower class omega cliche. And this is all before chapter 15!
The alpha looks about 40 (although his age isn't specified) and the omega is 17, so the omega is underage (and still in school, not college, but high school) and the age gap is super creepy and bordering on paedophilic. The omega is super passive too, which I don't like, although he seems to finally be developing a backbone 40 chapters in.
I can't believe this kind of cr** is still being written - I would have expected this kind of story to be written decades ago and I was surprised to see something so outdated in a modern piece.
Also the translations are trash.

THIS. IS. VERY. GOOD!
the art, the plot, the characters. The apocalypse setting.
It's beautifully written. Altho it's in B/W, the angst and the emotion are very on point.
Additional note: it has missing chapter(s) so I went back and fourth to other sites to fully understand this manhwa.
