Kinda bad on Jinx
(BEFORE YOU GET MAD PLEASE READ THE WHOLE REVIEW, WHICH ALSO MENTIONS OF R4PE)
don't even get me started -- For a manwha that got this amount of hype I was expecting a little bit more from this, and the fact that this was made by the creator of bj Alex
don't get me wrong, I love the art style, and the plot, chefs kiss, it has my two favorite things; martial arts and BL, but the main takeaways I have with this manwha are the characters. I don't like the relationship that the mc and the love interest have. He r4pes him and manipulates the mc because he knows he needs the money for something important. And while he might get a character devolvement arc, that's not excusable by any means.
And we see the same type of thing happening in BJ Alex, both stories have an alike love interest, cold and distant at the beginning. But the thing that differentiates jiwon from this one is that jiwon wasn't that much of an a$$hole, I mean the mc is scared for his life and every time they do it, he never listens to what the MC wants, for ex. ( stop, slow down.) that would be okay if he was into it, BUT HES NOT.
2/5 -- for art style and the CONCEPT of the story.

Pretty good on Checkmate (TAN)
7/10 okay hear me out main character design is breathtakingly hot the chibi design so cute~but surroundings design, mob character just felt lackluster and boring plain but still it wonderful read
9/10 having read and knows how messed up the celebrity society and corrupt they are this is not to farfetched. The uke is gooooood I love him a very different type of uke from many I've read so far. This just wonderful so far highly recommended

Meh on BJ alex
It's pretty worth the read, the art is also very nice considering the time it was made, and I also like the plot. One of the main takeaways from this manwha is the characters. The beginning of their relationship was very toxic but I liked the fact that jiwoon had some character development at the end. Not to mention the fact that the side characters have a better relationship than the main story.
Another thing id like to touch on is that I don't really like the character design (this is a personal preference) DG just looks so stupid /s, and jiwon is pretty average but nothing is wrong with looking average either.
Jiwon had pretty privileges and issues. But again, I did like the growth of both of them. And at the end, their relationship was fairly healthy and happy.
3/5 stars, this is pretty much like a guilty pleasure manwha LOLOL

Kinda bad on How to Be the Chosen One
I dropped it at chapter 30 cause I felt uncomfortable with the way they normalize r*pe. The setting was interesting but the whole "I r@pe you cause I love you too much" is psychotic and definitely not for me.

Rocks on How To Fight
This is one of my favorites for a lot of reasons, the art is literally amazing and so are the characters, they have so many different unique things about them. One of the main things I liked about this manga is that the MC isn't some "overpowered, self-insert, always gets the girl at the end" type of mc, you can relate to him in some sense, and the dude is literally hilarious also. And the plot is so amazing too, another thing I loved in this manwha is that they incorporate real martial art techniques, this manwha is one of the reasons i got into martial arts too.
pretty solid manwha, 5/5

Meh on Lucky Paradise
3/5 stars, don't get me wrong, I love the art style and the plot is pretty solid too. I feel like it could've been better if the characters weren't so confusing and frustrating. Like, if they communicated what their relationship was. And the plot would've been better if they took a different approach to it, I'm not too much of a fan of love triangles (that's just my personal preference of course) and this will also tie back into the characters a bit, but I wish tae and chunwoo would've either A) ended the relationship B) again, COMMUNICATED. And it took them ages to do so, but again, manga is pretty solid, and adore the art style!

Pretty good on Even If You Don't Love Me
it's been a rollercoaster but I love this so much! It's not for the faint hearted and it has a lot of triggering moments and the trauma they both went trough is hard but the love they have for each other is still strong. I do hope they get a happy end
