Pretty good on Martial Peak
TL;DR This manwha is like your favorite brand of potato chips, it's not amazing, but consistently entertains you with it's plot and sheer volume.
Yang Kai is biggest Chad you'll ever read about. He will kill, threaten, steal, beat, humiliate anyone, he has the largest group of friends, supporters and mentors you'll ever see. He defends his friends and family to the death, will leave no debt unpaid, will always serve out vengeance and isn't won over by pretty faces.
Even though he is all that, the plot is repetitive, the power creep is very real, you'll see plots getting recycled all the time. There's moments where there's massive exposition dumps. You need a world atlas to keep up with all the relationships and names.
So why would you read this? Because it's plentiful, you'll always have more to read, because the character isn't some weak chicken sh** most of the time, because when the story decides to throw out an all out brawl, you get a 10-20 chapter epic struggle, with an epilogue and you always find yourself rooting for this ass**** protagonist.
Or maybe you're 300 chapters in and you're invested.
This manwha for me is the standard. This is my 3.5 ⭐ story that is the baseline for me to say which manwhais are decent and which are better left overlooked. It's a big commitment, but worth it.
