Sucks big time on Punch Drunk Love
This is just..... ridiculous. Not like "haha this is silly and fun" ridiculous, but just really stupid. Unbelievably stupid.
There's basically no plot except for the uke just simping about the seme while he makes no attempt whatsoever to get to know him as an actual person. He's also really stupid - I can see that the author is trying to make him endearing like "haha he's clueless about relationships isn't that cute?!" but it's pushed too far - even teenagers wouldn't be this stupid and cringy. The seme is also one dimensional and his acceptance of the uke doesn't make sense and comes out of nowhere. There are loads of pointless misunderstandings which are supposed to add to the plot but they just don't.
I don't understand the reviews saying the art style is nice because I found it too in-your-face and very jarring.
I really tried to bear with it but it's so bad I'm dropping this one. I would definitely say avoid if you don't want to lose any IQ points.
