Pretty good on From Duty to Devotion
Many readers (none) have felt that lately I haven't insulted them enough (never happened), complaining about how I was being too nice (an åsshole, actually) with my heartfelt appreciation (cynical sarcasm) and agreeable demeanor (cûntness).
I understand. You bois have needs, too. Daddy Ivern has neglected you. So, let's remedy that.
You know, when you look in your mirror, and your eyes lack the spark that you see in everybody else's? When you ask yourself "Did I really have to suffocate on that fifth bagel in public"? When you pause for a moment, questioning your own purpose, after The Napkin Pile near your bed starts towering at a staggering height, wa** after wa**? Do you remember the last time someone felt genuinely proud of you? Did it ever happen? How many will remember what you are, for how much? How? How do you sleep at night, while faintly conscious of your own irreparable mediocrity?
Well this manga is a bit like that. It's not baaaad, at all. After all, you are not a bad person, too. It's a bit eh. A bit meh. A bit plain. It's missing that je-ne-sais-quoi (yes I'm a french megabitch today) that makes masterworks pop. And sometimes, the writing does have its moments. Sometimes, the art does surprise you in how consistent it is. Sometimes, I appreciate the romance.
But the drama is subpar. ML is overall too flat. And FL, while being at least realistically written, lacks charm. Sure, she is cute. I guess. Like a brain-damaged zebra can be cute, escaping a predator. But she won't steal my heart anytime soon. Maybe also because I don't have one. But yeah.
8-- on the Ivern Scale™️! Needs more identity, a functional gimmick, and a characterization that doesn't push me to heroine addiction. While you, you need to brush your teeth. Chop chop.

Rocks on Ordinary daily life of an omegaverse guide
Exceeded my expectations. The beginning disturbed me a bit. But I understood why it was necessary it as the plot thickened. The main couple gave me so much fluff and hope. The side couple gave the story humor and just a smidge of angst. The story didn't drag out the drama and the bad guys got what they had coming. Sooo good 😊🥰 the sm** was pretty good, I felt like this was more plot based than focused on the sm** tbh.
