Meh on The Hunter
3/5- one for decent art. one for interesting characters. and one because there hasnt been any overt romance [yet-up to where i stopped].
i think the plot was mentioned once in the teaser? it hasnt been mentioned since then, nor has any progress been made.
the entire story thus far has been a series of indoor fights. the artist must hate drawing backgrounds because honestly... how many indoor fights can there even be.
if the mc struggles for more than a few panels, he falls back on his godly perfect knowledge and memory of his past life, and uses that to repair his plot armor.
everybody wants to fight him. if theres a place where a fight seems unlikely, something will come in from fuc**** neverland to fight him.
[demon beasts! cool! what are those? oh, they're enemies for killing. okay... are we gonna learn anything else about them? no. okay....]
on one hand,
the author milks the absolute dogshit out of the mini arcs in his story. its obvious, and painful.
on the other hand,
i read 62 chapters of this.

This is one of ur typical omegaverse story but our seme s a green flag.Rather than being toxic it's more on the drama side.
It's like they are "dumb and dumber" couple.
The story could be 4/5 rated BUT just cuz its missing details and is confusing all through out it loses the rating.
You have to let your brain do the filling at various parts...But since they got a happy ending I'm happy

Summary: Good manga to recommend to people, beautiful love, super green flag seme, communication!
Whole thought process:
Frankly, i have nothing to hate about this manga. This is one of the few times i give a manga 5 stars becos there is nothing to let me deduct a star (i usually deduct one if there is no-con or red flag as people may not like them)
(1) you will super love Jadeite for being such a green flag, how much he respect Shu (and care for him during s.x moments) and how much change he has undergone after meeting Shu (progress)
(2) this manga talks all about communication, it keeps emphasizing communication is important and how it allows no misunderstanding and for people to get along from start till the end
(3) this manga, the couple are so cute. there was a part where i tear up abit. The only bad thing for this manga is it is too short (i cant stop craving for more!). There are still things unexplained.

Will they be able to be together forever? In the beginning it was explained that the princes need to marry someday. I want to see progress for this.
i want Jadeite to go against his father (again) and the traditions to be with Shu (Rito) forever. And i want Adamas to choose Lucian.

I loved the beginning, forgot about it after its hiatus and then picked it up, wtf happened to victor
'it's a change in art style' no tf it isn't, mans changed from a tall masculine man to this tiny, childlike 'smolbean' character
I hate yaois that infantilise the bottoms, or overtly feminise them (to an extent, i'm not saying i hate feminine men) it sort of ruins the whole point in it being a gay relationship when they really try to push the damsel in distress woman ahh stereotype

Pretty good on Please Slay The Demon! Young Master!
Force yourself to get through the trainwreck translation of ch 1, then the "next chapter" button skips ch 2, so go back to ch 2, and then read up to ch 4 before you decide to drop! While the thirst trap level is a bit high, the art still has its funny and cute moments. In the cultivation/isekai genre, there are far worse reads.
