Pretty good on Superhuman Battlefield
But with a caveat.
Okay, so. Superhuman Battlefield, quality wise, is a bop. Are we clear on that? We should be clear on that. Going into the details:
- it has good characterization, with a downright INSPIRED main character. Yeob is just so, so deranged. He could be a fuc**** psychotic antagonist in any other manga. He is a menace. HE HAS CANONICAL IMMUNITY TO DAMAGE! AND TO THE LAW, TOO! AND TO CONVENTIONAL MORALITY! Simply put, MC is cray cray and cracked. Love him. There aren't many mother******* as effortlessly ruthless and efficiently well-meaning but all in all sociopathic like him around. In short: he is your standard tv drama-aficionado.
- the art is great. The aura visuals, with their color locked on a power tier basis, CAN make the panels a monochromatic clusterfuck, but it has awesomely drawn fights, a nice style and handsome faces. Quality stuff all around.
- the writing has nice pacing and a very efficient sense of humor. Along with Yeob's... Yeob's... well, peculiar "state of mind", this makes for plenty of fun.
Here's the caveat. This is not an action manga. By g**, this is not a dungeon crawler. Like, IT SEEMS ONE! It starts like one! AND IT FUC**** ISN'T ONE.
This, my friends, is a göddamn sports manga. Yeeeeeees. You heard me, you bas****. IT'S ABOUT GAMES, AND MATCHES AND PLAYER-POLITICS! Not monsters, not warpgates, not high stakes fights. Simple, elementary powers used strategically to get a streamlined field of play between adversaries. That's all.
Do you like sports mangas? Then it is a great example of a successful and competent one in the genre. Do you find them passable, like a normal, well-adjusted person should? Congratulations! You are not a himbo! And also you will find it okay.
Me? I'm an action formula bítch. So, 8+ on the Ivern Scale™️ it is.

Find it quite enjoyable to read, although the amount of text on some chapters is somewhat overwhelming. I still like it quite a lot, though, and will definitely continue reading!

I don't know what I was expecting. It seems I completed this season 1 way long time ago but I was expecting for manga to be complete and only season 1.
Also, I just revised the manga quickly and I wonder what was it that I liked when I first read this manga because now I can't recall anything memorable.
After reading only YAOIS and more of them Omegaverse with family plots, all other mangas feels dull now.

try 'Bring the Love' the main couple is not BL but everyone around them are some kind of color of the rainbow. The reading is very easy without troupes of misandestanding that stays for too long and its the only one so far (ive read more than 50+ by now) that the couple acrually talk to each other like competent adults and comunicate their feelings
